St. Luke's Life Teen Youth Group is sponsoring another parish-wide initiative. It's called the St. Luke's Drive Thru Difference. You may have heard about this on a local Christian radio station. We thought it might be nice to get the word out about all of the great things we are doing at St. Luke's. What better way to do this than to brighten someone's day, the St. Luke's way.
WHAT IS THE
DRIVE THRU DIFFERENCE?
The Drive Thru Difference is an easy way for you to make a difference in your community and make someone's day. It's faith in action (James 2:14-17), and it's really easy. All you have to do is pay for the person's food behind you in the Drive Thru. After paying for your own food, ask the cashier at the drive thru window how much the check is for the car behind you. You then pay their tab and hand the cashier an already printed note that explains what you just did and why you did it. You then ask the cashier to give the note to the people behind you, whose food you just paid for. The note can be found here. You never know what type of difference you could make in the lives of those around you. The person working at the restaurant sees you making a difference, and the person behind you may even decide to do the same thing for the person behind them.
